Christy Dawn’s regenerative revolution is the philosophy we need to incorporate personally, locally, globally. It doesn’t have to be Christy Dawn or use those words but the concept is universal. Christy Dawn is becoming part of the solution. We cannot treat each other, nor animals and plants as infinitely consumable products. After winning independence from Britain, Ghandi suggested that we reduce our wants and supply our needs. We must give and take in equal measure, to bring balance to ourselves and our world, or our species won’t survive. In America, which is richest country on earth, has one of highest levels of inequality and consumes the most, we are in a perfect position to both set an example and help correct the mistakes of the past.

How Would You Describe Your Style?

Style aspiration ~ Audrey Hepburn found clothes that fit her not just physically, but expressed her personality in a way that was classy and artistic, creative and whimsical. When you can hit that many notes at the same time in harmony it’s a win. You know it when you see it because it just makes you feel light and happy.

Then there’s Bowie. So this is just artistic expression without any self consciousness or actually - with total consciousness of self. His clothes were an act of rebellion against stagnancy, against atrophy. His style was alive. That’s the best way of describing it. Always new, always connected, communicating and ever evolving.

How Do You Honor Mother Earth?

Find ways to help her. I’m inspired by the science of removing carbon from our atmosphere by investing in restoring the land, tending to our home and our family and our collective cultures. This is how we love ourselves. To realize daily how specialist is  to be sharing life on this amazing planet.
