Honoring Mother Earth

Mother Earth is a powerful teacher. We look to her guidance and celebrate her beauty and resilience throughout our entire process.

Follow Natural Rhythms

Follow Natural Rhythms

Our business runs on a different clock than most, we ask our community to slow down and create mindfully. We make the most of available resources, produce to our capacity and refresh each season. We believe that creating beautiful and quality dresses will happen organically when we take our time and make space. Check out our journals to learn more about the moon cycles that we follow!

Dress the World in Beauty

Dress the World in Beauty

Our community is beautiful and we work to honor it in everything we do. We root through piles of leftover fabric called deadstock to find potential in others’ waste. With that fabric, our lead designer and founder Christy designs dresses that accentuate the wearer’s existing beauty. Shop dresses made from deadstock

Our community extends to the natural world around us. We consciously make decisions that regenerate the beauty of our natural systems. Learn More About Our farm to closet mission

Create with Intentionality

Create with Intentionality

Christy designs dresses for abundant use -- they are comfortable, versatile and timeless. We believe a thoughtfully and beautifully designed dress endures. Our team of artisans uses detailed craftsmanship to cut and sew our dresses in downtown LA. We use more than the average stitch per inch, and members of our team carefully inspect and put on all the finishing touches to ensure our dresses last. Meet Our Dress Makers

Respect our Limits

Respect our Limits

Like nature, we have limits. We thoughtfully plan out each Christy Dawn dress based on which deadstock works best and how much is available. This means each dress comes in varying quantities. We do not see this as a restriction. We see it as an opportunity to provide our community with unique and ever-changing dresses, as well as a reminder to limit our production to limit our impact on Mother Earth.
