In celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day, we are honored to offer our community a free webinar with Taita Juanito Chindoy to explore matters of ancestral wisdom and practices of connection with the natural world through self discovery and healing.
Taita Juanito Chindoy is a native son from the Indigenous Amazonian region of Putumayo, Colombia. The name, “Taita” which means, “guide” or teacher,” is a title of reverence bestowed upon him as a spiritual teacher as well as a student of his elders. He has been committed to sharing the teachings of his ancestors for nearly 20 years through miriad indigenous healing modalities and practices, all of which are in deep connection with the earth. As a traditional doctor, botanist, beloved spiritual teacher and guide, Taita Juanito carries with him the medicine of love, compassion and forgiveness.
On Indigenous Peoples Day, 25% of our total sales will go to Magic Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting the lands and indigenous communities of the Colombian Amazon. The Magic Fund is currently raising $35,000 by the end of this year to provide healthcare for more than 400 people in the Ingano community.
