As a teacher, herbalist and regenerative gardener, I want to be part of the regenerative revolution because the current ways of extracting resources from the Earth are devastating life on our planet. Taking natural resources from the Earth at this current rate is causing a climate crisis, civil unrest and a deep disconnection that hurts the hearts of consumers, stuck in an unsustainable web and system.

Being part of the regenerative revolution means finding ways to give back to the Earth, to be in reciprocal relationship -- receiving what we need to live while also supporting, healing, feeding and maintaining the web of life that gives us life.

Becoming part of the regenerative revolution may be one of the most inspiring things about being alive in this time! We are living in an era where old systems have failed us but our love for the Earth and creative inspiration can guide us into new ways of being and supporting life for those yet to come.

I love and know the people behind Christy Dawn and their dedication to honoring the Earth and creating opportunities for healing through their work. I know their hearts, minds and creativity are devoted to finding innovative and loving ways of changing the fashion industry, of exploring how to do business in a way that is holistic, and of offering their customers ways to support regenerative practices that positively impact the earth and human communities.

How Would You Describe Your Style?

I love clothes that feel natural and soft on my skin, dresses that move with me and the breeze. I also love it when what I wear feels like an extension of my mood, of the garden or elements I wish to bring into my experience. When I wear natural materials, I can feel the plants and the Earth hugging me, protecting me gently from the sun. For the last few years, I've noticed how attracted I am to wearing blue -- it makes me feel peaceful and happy!

How Do You Honor Mother Earth?

I honor Mother Earth through my work as the director of The School of the Sacred Wild. My life is dedicated to guiding people back into intimate relationship with the natural world, and its their own sacred and wild hearts and spirits. I teach regenerative living practices, folk herbalism, holistic healing and natural medicine. As an author, I reach people sharing ways of living in harmony with the seasons and regenerative cycles of Nature. As a mother, sister, daughter, teacher and friend I honor Mother Earth by supporting my community. As a consumer, I do my best to buy local and organic food, to support my local farmers and markets, to avoid plastic as much as possible and to connect with companies like Christy Dawn who are working hard to give consumers more ethical choices.
