Relaxed, minimal, considered.

What feeling do you aim for when getting dressed?

I aim for comfort above anything else, but I aim for ease in the same way. I want to wear things that feel like me and that’s easy to put together.

What makes you select something new for your wardrobe?

I’m really intentional with what I bring into my wardrobe. (When selecting something new) I’m either filling a gap or I’m drawn to it, and I feel like if I don’t have it, I’ll miss it. I feel like it’s a combination of intuition and need.

What’s the most nostalgic piece in your wardrobe?

This vest that I have of my mom’s from when she was a little kid, that my grandmother added all the patches to. I wore it when I was little and I can’t wait for my daughter to be able to fit into it. It makes me nostalgic for being a little kid!

Where do you pull inspiration from that’s not fashion-related?

I get really inspired when I travel. By architecture, food, and people.

What’s your favorite memory from a Christy Dawn shoot?

There’s too many good ones. We were shooting in the south of France and staying/shooting at this chateau - all the girlies were positive that it was haunted. So me, Christy, and the other model decided to pile in together, and literally dragged our beds into one room and shared because we were all too scared to be by ourselves. It felt like being kids again at a sleepover.
