Farm-To-Closet: Season Two
Our second Farm-to-Closet Collection was regeneratively grown on 80 acres of land in Erode, India. Working directly with the farmers and artisans of Oshadi Collective, the once depleted land has been replenished through ancient practices of regeneration to produce a bounty of healthy cotton crops, and 1 million tons of excess carbon were sequestered from the atmosphere.
We are able to steward this land because of your support for Christy Dawn. Every time you purchase a piece, you’re supporting reciprocal, intentional relationships with farmers, ginners, spinners, weavers Mother Earth and ourselves. It’s an exchange that benefits all of us.
Thank you for being part of the Regenerative Evolution. Together, we can heal, grow, create and regenerate.
Wearing Farm-to-Closet is an invitation to wear your values. Each purchase helps replenish even more soil and sequester even more carbon. It’s not a donation, it’s an opportunity to participate in a solution — one where you look good and feel good at the same time.
We invite you to share the responsibility and benefit of regeneration from the seed. Your $200 investment in a 3485 sq ft plot of land will cover the costs of everything from the farmers’ salaries to herbal pest repellent and the seeds for pollinator crops. At the end of the season, we’ll buy back the cotton from your yield to create a new capsule of regenerative cotton dresses, and you will receive a store credit to shop the collection that you helped grow.
