Cyclical Insights

Traditionally in several native cultures this Moon is known as the Corn Moon, the Green Corn Moon, and the Barley Moon. This moon cycle signals us to begin preparing for harvest and the colder seasons ahead. However, bright and bold abundance is clearly visible now with the peak of summer and lakes filled with fish, so this moon is also known as the Sturgeon Moon.

Lughnasadh or Lammas is August 1st. This ancient holiday of harvest marks the halfway point of the summer solstice and fall equinox. How has this summer season been for you? Midway markers helps bring mindfulness and gratitude for what has manifested thus far and bless you with another half a season to fulfill your seasonal aspirations.

Self Reflections

Self Reflections

As we honor our journey at the midpoint of summer, we are called to bask in and enjoy the sun’s peak potency, however, we begin to conserve and bring awareness to fall’s harvest on the horizon. Communicating with your community is vital as we prepare for the colder and less abundant second half of the cyclical year. How shall we work together for the common good? Gratitude for hot days and warm nights lifts spirits and opens us up to beautiful outward expressions.

You are gold and vast riches lie within, the summer sun is ready to reflect your light!
