“No matter how a piece of clothing looks, it cannot be considered beautiful if, in producing it, the environment is destroyed or people are exploited. When deciding on what to wear, we all have an obligation to consider how it’s made and the impact that process has on the planet and its people.”
Our dresses are made from rescued deadstock fabric that was left over from larger fashion houses. By using deadstock fabric we save hundreds of thousands of gallons of water annually and help keep the planet clean. When we purchase deadstock, the fabric content is rarely known. For this reason, we are only able to give you our best description of the fabric; the Teal feels like a linen and eco dry cleaning is recommended!
“I think it’s an honor to work with Christy Dawn; I feel lucky to be here!”Santos just had a baby, so outside of work he spends as much time as he can with his family. He was cutting lace for a Sebastian dress when I talked to him; his hands seemed to never stop moving! He says that if he’s working on a new dress or a piece he’s unfamiliar with, he has to concentrate a little harder, but if it’s a dress he already knows, it becomes almost second nature for him to work on it.
