“May Your Daily Ceremony of Dressing Become a Celebration and Reminder of Your Radiant Presence.”
Our dresses are made from rescued deadstock fabric that was left over from larger fashion houses. By using deadstock fabric we save hundreds of thousands of gallons of water annually and help keep the planet clean. When we purchase deadstock, the fabric content is rarely known. For this reason, we are only able to give you our best description of the fabric; the Noir Lace feels like a rayon and eco dry cleaning is recommended!
“Of course there are times when it gets stressful, but ultimately I love what I do.” Vicky has been with Christy Dawn since the very beginning, and she’s been working in the industry since she was seventeen. She went to school to learn how to sew and got her first job right from there. She’s always really enjoyed it. She works mostly in making the samples—which are the dresses that are produced before the design of the dress is finalized—to make sure all the kinks are out of the design and that the pattern is the best it can be. The Paloma is her favorite dress to work on. Her daughter, Nora, started working for the shipping department recently. She loves having her daughter here and getting to see her throughout the day; it makes coming to work that much more comfortable.
