Mother Earth is a powerful teacher. We look to her for guidance, celebrating her beauty and resilience throughout our entire process. From the start, we've aimed to tread lightly, to produce sustainably, and to Honor Mother Earth with every decision we make. We use both leftover fabric (called “deadstock”) and new, organic cotton to create each of our designs. We have production centers in Los Angeles and India, where we are working toward creating a fully regenerative fibershed. Our talented team puts care and intention into each seam they sew. Speed is the last thing on their minds; we ask them to take a deep breath, slow down and create something they are proud of.

The linen (eco dry cleaning recommended) we used is rescued deadstock fabric that was left over from a larger fashion house. By using deadstock fabric we save hundreds of thousands of gallons of water annually and keep the planet clean.

Vicky | Gretchen Sky Embroider

“Of course there are times when it gets stressful, but ultimately I love what I do.”
Vicky has been with Anteliza since the very beginning, and she’s been working in the industry since she was seventeen. She went to school to learn how to sew and got her first job right from there. She’s always really enjoyed it. She works mostly in making the samples—which are the dresses that are produced before the design of the dress is finalized—to make sure all the kinks are out of the design and that the pattern is the best it can be. The Paloma is her favorite dress to work on. Her daughter, Nora, started working for the shipping department recently. She loves having her daughter here and getting to see her throughout the day; it makes coming to work that much more comfortable.
