It’s our belief at Christy Dawn that we can create regenerative relationships with the Earth through all aspects of our brand communication, from sharing thought-provoking messages surrounding sustainability, to engaging our community in a deeper awareness of the practices that create their clothes. As Social Media Manager and Content Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining a consistent brand identity for Christy Dawn and communicating our online presence across all social media and marketing channels. You will create and oversee strategies to engage the Christy Dawn community through innovative, compelling and impactful storytelling.

What you will do

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure consistency
  • Facilitate scaling brand awareness through various social media channels
  • Work to create and implement social media strategies monthly
  • Ensure consistency in brand identity through copy, voice and terminology
  • Create visual consistency by curating an Instagram feed that feels engagingly aligned with our brand identity. 
  • Direct and oversee social media and influencer coordination for our Stewardship Program
  • Communicate with our PR agency to ensure that marketing messages are communicated in alignment with our master calendar
  • Conceptualize and create all marketing campaigns, managing our Graphic Designer and Copywriter by providing storytelling direction for email, social media and website communication. 
  • Create actionable plans to grow our social media following across all platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of a monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives

What you will need:

  • 6+ years of social media and marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field
  • Proficient in the use of multi-social posting programs such as Planoly, Grin, and Iconosquare
  • Background or comfort in photography and video editing for social media (i.e. reels, Tiktok, and other apps such as VSCO)
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to engage their attention
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
  • Creative eye and keen understanding of Christy Dawn’s ethos
  • Passion for sustainability and regenerative business practices
